Bug Recognize use of Red Buttons in fights

Something I remember from my previous run, I was forced to use combat items against some HR boss and ended up throwing red buttons. Mafia didn't parse this and ended up thinking I had more buttons than I actually had left.

Mafia updates combat item counts from KoL's dropdown. It's likely a KoL bug that the items are misreported. If you have the Item Manager open, you can see if the count briefly decreases and then increases again.
 
Hm, that could be. After I'm done with my current ascension I'll check it without mafia active (not going for the the Shen/Zeppelin route)

If you kill the monster with your combat item, there won't be a dropdown, will there?

I noticed this same thing the one and only time I ever tried throwing red buttons at a monster. I thought "that's weird", but it didn't seem worth my time, at the time, to figure out what had just happened.

I should try doing this with one of my aftercore multis and getting logs.
 
I guess we'd want to parse "You manage to find and recover all but Y of the buttons. " and remove Y-1 buttons from our inventory, if the combat is over.
 
r14582 fixes parsing in last round of combat.

It does not fix the KoL bug (reported) where the number in inventory does not change during combat.
