Bug - Cannot Reproduce Wrong Character logged in; V15.4 r11393

[kotharno]

The stats for the wrong character are showing so drunk and fill are incorrect.

kotharno logged on but the stats for Humzinger are showing.

I unfortunately drank for 16, which is allowed with Humzinger (my other character) but not for kotharno, who did an Avatar of Boris run before breaking prism. Mafia ought to have shown 0/14 drunk and 0/20 fill.
Instead it showed 0/19 drunk and 0/15 fill.

Having trusted the mafia drunk numbers, I am at 165 turns but too drunk to run them and no way to recouperate or even use the food turns as I have not even eaten yet.

What happened? I logged in Humzinger and decided not to run that character and logged in kotharno.

I am not sure how but somehow, Humzinger's stats stayed while mafia logged in Kotharno.

Bottom line, I got screwed out of 150 or so turns which I would have gotten with eating and the bounty for the day.

Can the developers somehow compensate me for my misguided trust?

At least there should be something done to stop dual log in.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so if by this you mean "Would the developers be willing to give up their own personal time to work through this potential bug with me in an effort to resolve it for any future occurrences?" then yes, there is a statistically high chance of that happening.

Edit: On the topic of trust Holatuwol(?) has this to say:

My personal belief is that running any program (including the web browser you are using to view this page) is about near-unconditional trust. If, for any reason, you don't trust the companies and individuals involved in the development of the program, I strongly suggest that you should never run the program, no matter what the promised benefits may be. I believe these same guidelines should be applied if you're thinking about using KoLmafia.

Edit: Now that's out of the way. Are you able to reproduce the bug, or does it appear to have been a once-off occurrence? I am assuming you didn't have debugging on, so do you have any session logs which might provide at least some clues?

I logged into a character with Liver of Steel.
KoLmafia showed me to be 0/15 full & 0/19 drunk
I logged out back to the login frame but did not exit the program.
I logged into a character with Stomach of Steel
KoLmafia showed me to be 0/20 full and 0/14 drunk

In other words, it worked exactly correctly.

You will need to supply more detailed instructions of exactly what you did and exactly what you saw, so that we can reproduce your problem, if we are to have any hope whatsoever of solving your issue. As is, I would have to mark this "Cannot Reproduce". However, I will optimistically mark this "Waiting for Info", in the hope/expectation that you can tell us exactly how to reproduce the issue.
