As part of the cooking changes, all Innaboxen now no longer use the "skull/head-in-the-box" layer.
They also no longer require an Oven/Cocktailcrafting kit to be made.
These changes also apply to the chef and the clockwork versions.
While I'm unsure if Jick's done revamping the system, these changes seem to be fairly stable.
