Ohh this is awesome. So requesting an 11th Chorale resulted in my character getting a refund with the message
On the buffbot log, I have
Awesome job Veracity. Thanks :)
As regards the no spare AT slot, buffbot log shows
Sheepishly admits that windows had somehow switched his processor to a power-saving mode which was causing the CPU issue. Clearing FF cache completely and installing Waterfox has cured the relay browser thing too. Thank you guys, you're awesome.
Works exactly as expected, nice job Theraze :)
So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, here is the amended script. Not only does it include all dropping familiars (plus the hipster) but you can now mess around with the order in which the familiars are used to your heart's content. Enjoy.
Thanks for your suggestions. I'll try reinstalling Java as a first step to see if that helps with the CPU issue then I'll try running a vanilla FF. I'll report back.
I find that 5 Hipster combats works out OK but, in any case, it appears that the order is irrelevant as the familiars are used in alphabetical order. My knowledge of ash is inadequate to work out why this happens, unfortunately.
Oops did I use an old version of the script? I'll grab the version from the first post in the thread and try again. I see no problem with the xeno - it collected 5 transponders for me when I ran it today or am I missing something?
When I autoadventure, I'm seeing around 25% CPU usage on an i5 4-core 2.4GHz windows laptop with 6GB of ram. If I'm using chat, while autoadventuring, mafia will regularly stop responding for a second or two which I put down to CPU strain. I haven't noticed a memory issue but will watch out for...
Version with added familiars
I'm attaching a version to which I have added the green pixie, bloovian groose, blavious kloop and stomping boots (you need to include stomping in your CCS). I also moved the rogue program to last position as the MP regen suits me.
Edit: Oh it uses the fams in...
I have noticed that mafia has started using more and more resources in recent weeks. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere and was wondering if this is just happening to me or if anyone else is seeing the same. It also seems to impact on Firefox when running the relay browser to the point that...
Using r10271 although this has happened occasionally with earlier builds; active effects in the "Active Effects" panel occasionally start breeding and start appearing multiple times. If I do nothing, the number of repeats increases and the only way I have found to clear this is to restart...
Looks like r10247 is the cause of this. I doubt that the drunki-whatevers are likely to be optimal in many circumstances so maybe they could be skipped altogether somehow?
re your comment in the script "sometimes, for some reason, it sends 'none' filter out and give them a second chance", $item[5504] doesn't exist so this is fixable by removing line 100 and changing line 99 to "int x=random(6);".
This is nice, thanks BC. I don't suppose anyone has included this in a script which parses the clan roster, maybe removing "inactives" ? By the time I come up with something workable, crimbo will be long gone.
