CounterChecker: Wormwood, Semi-rares, Dance Cards and more

At the moment, I agree. Although I could argue both sides, I could imagine a situation of an automated series of clover-related power levelling (e.g., Gallery) during which one might still want to get a semi-rare then return to continue to the clovering adventures. As a matter of style, I...

CounterChecker: Wormwood, Semi-rares, Dance Cards and more

Duh, clovers! I completely forgot that Uberpants is a clover adventure, so it didn't occur to me to check. Yup, I had protection turned off. AND, I'm in the middle of the Level 30 shuffle, so did a bunch of Gallery levelling. But, I went on to other areas and forgot about the protection. So, I...

CounterChecker: Wormwood, Semi-rares, Dance Cards and more

Hmmm, Theraze, I'm now confused as well. For now, ignore my post and I'll investigate/characterize more fully. Indeed that property is already present and apparently saved in <username>_pref.txt. Perhaps this may end in the land of "unreasonable great justice" for me (see completely unrelated...

CounterChecker: Wormwood, Semi-rares, Dance Cards and more

I've scanned this thread and apologize if I overlooked the issue being covered earlier. Briefly, CC will automatically look for SR based on best mall price, which is great. However, it doesn't know/check what the last SR obtained was. Thus, for example, it will repeatedly go back to get a...

SmartStasis -- a complex script for a simple CCS

[Umm, shouldn't I be posting this in the BatMan thread?] I probably missed the fireworks and brass band, but has BatMan been generally released or is it still in an invitation-only alpha stage? I'd be very interested in trying it...

    "Unreasonably complex expression for"

Thanks all for the insights and special thanks to Jason for his current Sherlock Holmes garb. I've now slogged through to Level 30 and will ascend tomorrow, so won't be able to try to reproduce the problem easily for a little while. I'll look forward to the results of sonar in Loch Ness...

    "Unreasonably complex expression for"

OK, this is a bit lengthy. I first adventured a few times in Basement but did not yet get the "justice" error. Nonetheless, note that all of the Basement Monsters have a value of 10 from the gCLI output: ashq foreach m in $monsters[] print(m + " " + monster_attack(m)) <s>Killer</s> Festive...

    "Unreasonably complex expression for"

Thanks. I'll have to check on all those things tomorrow. I last encountered the error around Level 506 (that produced the dump above). I have not purposefully modified monsters.txt, abnd in fact cannot find that file in my Mafia directory tree. (Should it be there somewhere?) I'm happy to know...

    "Unreasonably complex expression for"

In the past couple of days, during the last part of a Basement run (thanks to autobasement.ash), the CLI starts to repeatedly display "Unreasonably complex expression for". Note the message does not say for what. This appears to start around the time some maximizer function was called and...

    Slime Tube Adventuring Script

Right to both. I don't understand it either. Next slime tube, I'll set verbosity on high and take time to investigate. (Mom is dead at the moment.) As I said, it looks like some type of race condition but the details are very mysterious to me. I have no idea about the sudden HP drop nor did I...

    Slime Tube Adventuring Script

Curiously, and only recently (i.e., in the past few days) Mafia appears to forget that I have a substantial mood set while running slime.ash. Thus, I somehow fail both at healing (thanks Bale for CC) and having enough HP to continue. Fortunately, the script aborts, I check and fix things by...

CounterChecker: Wormwood, Semi-rares, Dance Cards and more

A quick post-script (or pre-script? I never did get the hang of reverse Polish.): Thanks Theraze, that "unlockedLocations" fix seemed to do the trick for the last 50 adventures with which I was able to test. I'll try again tomorrow with a bunch more (since I did not characterize how often the...

StDoodle's Custom Daily Deeds : Relay Browser Version

I was also getting "invalid key" errors, both when running the 4.0-4.2 update line mentioned on the first page and then running the relay script itself. Deleting the file custd_<username>_deeds.txt did the trick, since it got reset/rebuilt automagically. Sorry, I didn't save the context enough...

    bumcheekcend.ash - A zero setup semi-automated ascension script!

A feature request: If a tower fight needs powdered organs, automatically check for canopic jars and use them if they are in inventory. Easy enough to do by hand, but nice to further automate the process. As a side note, would it be worth adding semi-auto zaps for other tower-required items?

    bumcheekcend.ash - A zero setup semi-automated ascension script!

Note to self: When running this marvelous script, be sure to set the zlib variable bbb_famitems to false or else BCC will be verrrrrry confused about what familiars are available to it. <insert palm-face here>

    OCD Inventory control

[deleted due to self-dumbness. I overlooked the option I was requesting] So, many thanks for this script. This is looking awesome for my first use, though I've got rather a large accumulation of old crap that needs to be sorted (so the page loads *very* slowly).
