Okay the download manually from the page http://builds.kolmafia.us/ worked like a champ. So maybe it is a transient problem on my side or...??? Will look more after my turns are done.

This morning's download was corrupted. The file was ~ 4MB not the typical ~12 MB. Not sure if the repository for Mafia has a truncated / bad file. Just got my coffee, so haven't done much poking yet in the forums. :-)
