Well. Um. In r9640 the "vicious talon slash" button would persist outside of bird form. So I've gone to r9643. Now there is no "shoot web" button in bird form, though it does show up outside of bird form. And "vicious talon slash" does still hang around outside of bird form.

But... isn't a huge, important part of what preferences are, the fact that they can vary? Aren't the settings for the preferences represented by variables? O.O I'm guessing that this code is to create "prefref" as an "alias," a thing I could type in the GCLI to represent all the stuff to the...

By the way, I found the line relaySkillButtonCount=5 in GLOBAL_prefs.txt of the "settings" folder (remember I'm in WinXP) and changed it to relaySkillButtonCount=2 I like it! I even monkeyed with the mysterious "Update hotkeys" thing. Interesting.
