Do you have Java 8? If not you'll get an invalid class format error, but it doesn't display anywhere except the command line. I find that behavior of Java quite annoying.

v8.0.1 is out with a self update fix. It wasn't working quite the way I intended.

It's done! I've just released v8.0.0 with the following changes: * Try and resume failed partial downloads. * Handle self update more gracefully. * Fixed a minor visual issue parsing the release notes.

I don't know if Java supports downloading a file starting at somewhere other than byte 0. If it does, adding that feature requires nothing more than tracking bytes downloaded and whether or not the last file download completed. I occasionally have network dropouts unrelated to DailyDownloader...

You sure can. Switch on silent mode by starting DD with the /p or -p arguments, which will bring up the preferences dialog, then enable it and restart DD. Voila, no more dialogs to click through.

About 180. Scratch that, it's actually around 180 spent plus 80 to 120 banked. So closer to 280 on average. As an example data point, I used 184 and have 100 (+3 from using Numberology manually) banked.

Your diagnosis is 100% correct. That's exactly what caused the crash/error message.

I just noticed something... sometimes the way the script maximizes things for quest speed causes you to be unable to hit the monsters because it gives you the wrong type of weapon for your class. This should no longer occur in r8.

I had a RNG-related failure of the script today: Couldn't get a cherry before running out of clovers. Just means I have to take over and finish up day 1... may have to fully manual day 2 too.

The right-click menu in KoLmafia's relay browser chat is missing options. Most notably, /msg isn't there in KoLmafia, but is in "vanilla" KoL, even if you turn the option off and back on then exit chat and re-enter. Using KoLmafia r16684.

What I've seen is after automated adventuring completes, my hat is inexplicably removed without any outfit change, only if the hat leveled up between start and stop, regardless of script control or plain old "select a zone and turns to spend and go" automation. Therefore the possible causes are...
