    Oh, it seems to be just relativity lectures, mafia probably has trouble recognizing those copies in general. Spooky putty, rain doh, digitize, chateau and fax seem to be doing just fine already.

    Maybe unless the string as a whole is a valid item id name. Like say: "[glitch season reward name]". That item has had OCD inventory control's item handling confused ever since I've had it in my inventory, but that's a separate kind of issue that just amuses me, given what the item stands for.

    string_modifier(it,"Skill") already works handily for identifying skillbooks, and gives more helpful info than just yes/no.

    There isn't, but the other text changing things are from effects (or locations), not items, so you can sgeea them away. (In the case of the katana, you can just not use the 17 cuts skill.)
