One thing that's an issue is that kolmafia always tries to equip the (crappy/scholarly/gladiator) mer-kin mask if you visit Grandma, so that's a pain when you need to trade for one of the other masks because it removes the item from your inventory to wear it. Logging into normal kol bypasses...
